Ah..a cup of tea and a good story about teacups and pots. The mystery and magic of this combination can be memorizing.
The stories they tell....a bit about the history of the cup, the person who owned or owns it and how it related to their life.
I listen intently when people tell me about them. What a wonderful what to make a living, I thought.
How could I do this...tell wonderful stories about teacups and pots and have a business? A franchise or other type of physical based business did't feel right for me.
One day I was drinking my cup of tea and reading an article about doing what you love to do for a business idea.
Yeah, sure, I thought. It all sounds great on paper but work is work and not supposed to be something you love.
I forgot about the article until later in the day while having another cup of tea. That was my turning point.
The light bulb went off, finally! I love tea and anything related to it.
I always think things look better after having tea. As a teenager, I became enamored of England and discovered English high tea. The entire concept of high tea and the regal formality and richness amazed me.
I since have been to tea in England, Ireland, Bermuda, New York City and on the Queen Elizabeth II while on a cruise.
That was a fun trip though we must have looked a bit strange...while everyone was outside on the pool deck, a few of us tea lovers went off to formal tea in the afternoon.
There was my passion. Now what?
A traditional store and expense was not a good fit for me. I thought what about the internet?
The idea of this website was born.
Welcome and Enjoy!
