Tea Party Decorations

Tea Party Table

Tea party decorations are important when you plan to throw an fantastic tea party.

These all contribute to the overall atmosphere. I think they are fun to buy and decorate for the simple joy of it.

Let's talk about them a bit.

What exactly do you think you will need to make your atmosphere great?

Here are a few items that you might want to consider:

1. Colored Napkins

2. Candles

3. Fancy Silverware

4. Tablecloth

These are four major items that you might just need to run a successful tea party.

It would be great if they all match or at least compliment each other.

Napkins

One of the napkins that you choose will need to serve the purpose of lining a basket. This will place in the center of the table. It will contain the food that is to be served at the tea party.

You might have muffins, or you could have biscuits. Either way, a napkin to line the basket will give it extra character.

Basket

The basket that you choose should be decorated. If there is no specific theme to go with the tea party then you will want it to have two separate colors.

Ideally it should not have a handle. This could serve as an obstruction to those around the table trying to enjoy the tea party.

It can be hard to talk to the person on the other side of the table with something blocking your way.

Now on to the candles which are another important part of the experience.

Candles

There are a few types of candles that you can choose when it comes to tea party decorations.

You could go with the standard stick candle, be it scented or unscented. Make sure the color of the candle matches the rest of the décor.

How about floating candles? These are smaller candles that float in containers of water.

They work just as well as other types of candles. Once the wax is gone they simply put themselves out.

Tablecloth

You can have one that is a single, plain cloth, or you can choose one with some fancy embroidering. It's up to you to have fun and pick the color and type you like.

You are on your way to a great party -- from matching the colors to finding the right silverware. You are on your way. You should find that your tea party decorations are certainly up to par.

So look around and find what you need. Build the tea party of your dreams.
