Fun Tea Party Games

Party Balloons

I think tea party games are fun.

In my opinion, parties are never complete without some good tea games.

These types of games do not require any experience. If you learn a new one you can incorporate it immediately.

The question is what types of games can you play at a tea party?

Did you ever even picture someone playing games at a tea party?

Believe it or not it's quite common and quite fun.

Here are some ideas:

1. One example of a good game is trying to get everyone to smile.

For this game you will need to designate one person at the table who is allowed to smile and do whatever they want.

This might sound pretty simple right? You would not believe how hard it is to keep your cool while someone is laughing, telling jokes and jumping around.

You'll probably find yourself smiling in no time. If you don't, then hopefully there was a cash prize involved.

2. Another of the great tea party games involves changing seats. This is one that is played at more than just tea parties. I think it should fit in great at your get-together.

What you will do is go around the table and ask a person "Do you love your neighbor?" (Which I hope we all do!).

If they answer no, then the people on both sides need to change seats. Or the person in the middle who answered the question might actually jump into one of the chairs.

  • If someone fails to sit, they are it. They then have to ask the question again. Tea Party Favor

If the person being asked actually says yes, they can follow it by "Yes, I love my neighbor with the exception of...".

Then they describe what they like or dislike about a specific person.

Try and keep it light, clean and fun. Set some limits as to not hurt the feelings of anyone:)

These are two out of many games that you could play at your tea party.

The one thing you need to remember is that there is no set standard for tea party games.

You can play anything you want. It can be charades, checkers, or even blind man's bluff.

If you get bored with all of the regular games, then why not try making some of your own?

Get a pencil and piece of paper and start jotting down ideas. You could even get your friend in on this to help you with some ideas.
