A Tea Party Invitation
I love the idea of an Alice in Wonderland tea party invitation. It reminds me of reading the story when I was a young girl (not so long ago, in a long distant galaxy:) and the wonder of it all. It can also be a fun theme for your child’s birthday party. While there are a variety of themes available, choosing an "Alice in Wonderland" party invitation makes good sense. There probably isn't a person around who doesn't associate tea parties with this story. An invitation for a child party can features cute cartoon. Try using those that have as the features of either the Mad Hatter or Alice herself. You can chose from simple black and white drawings to colorful drawings. What about buying printed invitations that you just fill in the date and the time? Then there is the blank type where you can write whatever you wish on the inside. This provides a much more personal touch. The wording on your tea invitations is also important. Try to give it an old world type feel. Try using wording such as "Lady Betty Smith" requests the honor of your presence for tea. This is what my sister did for my birthday. She sent out old fashioned looking invitations. They said something like "you are hereby invited to the birthday of Princess Michele given by Lady Barbara". Please respond to the Palace ASAP or off with your heads (no just kidding). Follow it by the date time and address. It can really set the mood for this special occasion.
