I simply love, adore and I am fascinated by anything related to a teacup and teapot.
Tea was introduced to me as a child and it was a special treat for a special occasion or when I was ill. A cup of tea was usually for the adults.
So tea became a cure for what ailed me. I always think things look better after having tea.
As a teenager, I became enamored of England and discovered English high tea. The entire concept of high tea and the regal formality and richness amazed me.
I since have been to tea in England, Ireland, New York City and on the Queen Elizabeth II while on a cruise.
That was a fun trip though we must have looked a bit strange...while everyone was outside on the pool deck, a few of us tea lovers went off to formal tea in the afternoon.
